Library

The mission of the Montera library is to provide a safe and welcoming space for our students to read, relax, learn, and connect with their peers. We have a wide range of diverse books to check out, including fiction, nonfiction, manga, graphic novels, and more!

Students can visit the library at lunchtime to check out books, play card and board games, work on a puzzle, or just relax with their friends. Chromebooks and a printer are available to use for school work. Students should eat their lunch before they come to the library. The library is also open for 15 minutes before school and 15 minutes after school.

Students also visit the library regularly throughout the school year with their English classes, typically once every 2-3 weeks. During these visits, students learn how to use the library and have the opportunity to check out books for independent reading.

Mrs. Rogers also hosts a lunchtime library book club for students. Space is limited and students can sign up at the Toropalooza fair that is held at the beginning of the school year.
