Ride for a Reason
Registration is open for the 2024 Ride 4 A Reason bike ride.
Ride 4 A Reason is an awesome event that raises funds for 12 Oakland public middle and high schools. The bike ride starts from Oakland Technical High School and ends at our state capital in Sacramento, shorter routes are also available. Last year, we had more than 350 riders and raised close to $230,000. As a result, each of the participating schools received just over $15,000 to foster student learning, growth, leadership and success.
