What is ParentSquare?

ParentSquare is a nationally recognized communications platform many school districts are using to keep in touch with families. OUSD is adopting ParentSquare because it will help us do a better job of sharing districtwide messages and is a way for families to complete important forms.

With ParentSquare you’ll be able to:

  • Receive all district, school, classroom, and group communication via email, text, or app - in the language you prefer
  • View and download photos
  • View the school and classroom calendar

ParentSquare can be use on any device by downloading the free mobile app for Android or iOS and can also be use from an computer by accessing the  ParentSquare website.

Our goal is for every family to join ParentSquare, so that all families can stay up to date on what's happening in their classroom, their school, and the district. 

Incorrect Information in ParentSquare

If you log in to ParentSquare and discover that your name, email address, or phone number are incorrect, contact the main office at (510) 879-3211. Anything that your school’s front office cannot correct will be entered in a tech ticket for our technology team to address.
