Volunteer Clearance

Dear Parents & Guardians,

As field trip season approaches, we want to remind you that the volunteer clearance process takes time, especially since unsupervised parent volunteers and all community volunteers must be fingerprinted. To enhance student safety, we are adding new verification steps:

• Parent Volunteers: All new applicants must be verified by a school administrator or designated staff member before being cleared.
• Community Volunteers (Non-Parents/Guardians): They must complete a 15-minute Zoom interview with an Ed Fund staff member before final clearance.
